Auttie is a mobile application that facilitates the learning and communication of children with learning difficulties.
Auttie encourages children to play, learn, and speak.
Used in parallel with special locating devices, it identifies the distance of the children from the mobile phone and alerts the parents when they move away from the device.

The app uses a learning system based on difficulty levels that adapts to according to every case, be it verbal or non-verbal
The learning module contanis a wide variety of choices, like vocabulary, calculus, object recongnition, and many more.
Parents can have a great impact to the development process by creating their own content, adapted to children's needs.
All objects in the application are 3D, creating the pefect learning environment that promotes children's creativity.
The algorithms are improving children's spelling and pronunciation.
This technology is used for the children that need special assistance in public spaces.
In order to find out what are the needs of our potential users, we conducted a user research on more than 120 people from 3 categories: families, organisation and therapists (psychologists, school counselors) that are interacting with children with autism. The results are the following:
consider that a virtual assistant who would speak to the children will have a great impact to their education
consider that alerting the parents when the children move away from the mobile phone would be very useful
consider that such an application would be useful for helping children learn faster and in a pleasant manner
